Sun-Netscape Alliance Professional Services Selects Mercury Interactive Testing Tools to Help Customers Deploy Successful E-Commerce Applications

SUNNYVALE, CALIF. (August 16, 1999) - Mercury Interactive Corporation (Nasdaq: MERQ), a leading provider of enterprise application testing solutions, and the Sun-Netscape Alliance today announced that Alliance Professional Services will adopt Mercury Interactive's testing software to assist in isolating and resolving end-user performance issues as customers deploy enterprise and e-commerce applications. Alliance Professional Services will also offer testing with consultants certified as Mercury Interactive product specialists.

Integrated real-time monitors in LoadRunner help enable organizations to minimize test cycles, optimize performance and accelerate deployment. WinRunner WebTest is a functional testing tool that verifies Web applications work as expected the first time and remain reliable.
