Netscape Expands Software Store on Netcenter

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. (March 16, 1999) - Netscape Communications Corporation (NASDAQ:NSCP) today announced the expansion and redesign of its Netscape Store, a popular site for Netscape users upgrading their Netscape Communicator browser software, and for over 500,000 customers who have purchased Netscape-branded products. Renamed the Netscape Software Store, which is owned and operated by Netscape, a pioneer in the sale and distribution of software online since 1995, this new retail site will expand its inventory significantly to also include thousands of third-party software titles, books, and merchandise.
