Annuncio Marketing Automation Solution Enables Netscape to Communicate Directly With Netcenter Members and to Increase Online Marketing Results
MOUNTAIN VIEW and LOS ALTOS, Calif. (January 14, 1999) - Netscape Communications Corporation (NASDAQ: NSCP) and Annuncio Software today announced that Netscape has selected Annuncio's new Internet marketing automation solution to expand its one-to-one marketing expertise and infrastructure for its Netscape Netcenter division. Annuncio Live will enable Netscape to automate, track, and analyze its Netcenter online advertising, marketing, and promotional campaigns and to deliver relevant information to its more than 10 million members.

Last month, Netscape announced its 1999 integrated marketing campaign for Netcenter, which is designed to expand the Netscape brand and to promote its rich portal content and services to consumers. In addition to online advertising and promotion, Netcenter's campaign includes traditional print and broadcast media for the first time.
Netscape's use of Annuncio Live software will provide Netcenter's marketing team with sophisticated targeting and tracking tools to help maximize its online presence, reduce cycle time for implementing new campaigns, and improve targeting. Annuncio Live is a highly reliable, marketing automation solution designed to deliver sophisticated segmentation, personalization, and testing capabilities for multitier campaigns.
