NETSCAPE AND DEUTSCHE TELEKOM ANNOUNCE SOFTWARE PACT


August 28, 1995. Netscape Communications Corporation (NASDAQ: NSCP) today announced that it has signed an agreement with Deutsche Telekom that will make Netscape client software products available to Deutsche Telekom's customers. As part of the agreement, T-Online, the Deutsche Telekom on-line service, will distribute a new German-language version of Netscape Navigator software to its 850,000 subscribers in September 1995, making it easy for them to access both the Internet and the new T-Online service.

"The agreement with Deutsche Telekom marks another important step for Netscape technology as the software platform for information exchange and business on the Internet and private TCP/IP networks," said Didier Benchimol, vice president, Netscape Europe.
