NETSCAPE UNVEILS NETSCAPE DEVELOPMENT PARTNERS PROGRAM


GIVES COMMERCIAL AND ENTERPRISE DEVELOPERS THE LATEST INFORMATION, TOOLS, AND SUPPORT FOR BUILDING ON THE NETSCAPE PLATFORM

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. (August 16, 1995) -- Netscape Communications Corporation (NASDAQ: NSCP) today announced the Netscape Development Partners Program, aimed at organizations developing products or services based on Netscape technologies. The new program offers commercial and enterprise developers, creative and design professionals, value-added resellers, integrators and consultants the software, tools, information, and support to make it easy to customize and extend Netscape's client and server software.

The company also announced today a special promotion that enables those applying for the Netscape Development Partners Program before October 1, 1995, the opportunity to receive a one-year free membership. After that time, the subscription fee will be $495 per year. The program includes online product information, technical documentation, development tools, and discounts on Netscape software products. The core program will also be supplemented with optional packages tailored to various partner categories, providing more specific information and assistance for different types of businesses.
